Pawscription is built on a simple principle: your pet's data belongs to you and only you. We designed the app so that we are technically incapable of accessing your data — because we never receive it in the first place.
1. Summary
We collect zero data. Pawscription has no servers, no user accounts, no analytics, and no third-party tracking of any kind. The app works entirely offline. No internet connection is required to use any feature.
2. What Is Stored
All information you enter is stored exclusively on your device using a local database:
- Pet names, breeds, and profiles
- Medication history, reminders, and dose records
- Prescription photographs or scans (processed entirely on-device using on-device OCR)
- Health observations and veterinary appointment records
- Veterinarian contact information
We have no access to this data. It never leaves your device. If you uninstall the app, all data is permanently deleted by your operating system.
3. Third Parties
Pawscription uses no third-party services of any kind. No analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising, no tracking. The only network requests the app may make are those initiated by you explicitly (such as calendar sync with your device's native calendar).
4. Your Rights
Because all data is stored locally and we have no access to it, you exercise your rights directly through the app:
- Access: View all your data within the app at any time, directly on your device.
- Erasure: Delete any record individually, or use Settings › Delete All Data for complete, irrecoverable deletion of all local data.
- Complaint: You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. In Spain: Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD).
5. Children
Pawscription is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU). Since we collect no data and have no user accounts, we have no way to identify the age of users. All data can be deleted directly from the device at any time.
6. Changes to This Policy
If we ever introduce features that change our data practices (such as optional crash reporting or cloud backup), we will update this policy and notify users through the app before any changes take effect.
